It is a huge overcome to get down in the basic position for the drive. Every time when I try to get in place in the so called basic position I feel like a waddling duck trying to straighten out hunking down and poking out my butt!

It appears to be extremely nice to say the least when I have to play golf with people in a flight I never met before and the whole flight stands behind you while teeing off. You can feel their eyes gazing on your butt and the whole body is stark and stiff. How was it again? Swinging nice and easy? As if!

The biggest problem getting prepared for a golf tournament is not to warm up or practising on the Driving Range. As it turns out in a survey among my female golf friends the main question is: What am I going to wear? Not because of being hip or groovy. No. The only question is whether or not the butt gets represented in proper pants. They may not be too tight – one could think you even want them to stare! They may not be too lose either. It makes you look fad. Especially when you carry golf balls in the left and right pockets. Obviously that doesn’t work either.

How unerring or not you do make a decision on your golf pants. It always seem you picked the least of all problems.

So far, so good!

But: Not only women bother but so do all their guys, too when it comes to playing golf with women in a flight – even though they never say it out loud. What, if the tee off or first hit ist not far enough? What if I do not hit the ball at all and – worst case – what, if the girl in the flight hits the ball further than I did? Ughh. And that is going to be official as real guys pay for the round when they inferior the girls.

Usually things cool down at tee 3. All attendees showed their weaknesses and saw others playing. They all focus on the main things on the fairway and go ahead.

It was a nice side effect when I designed my golf polo shirts: fun golf sayings on the back of the shirt. That abstracts the view from the butt to the back.
